S&P 500 in EUR Terms

S&P 500 converted to euros via the USD/EUR spot rate — strips currency effects to show performance from a European investor's perspective. USD strength in 2022–23 meant the S&P 500 dramatically underperformed in EUR terms despite strong nominal USD gains.

This indicator is computed by MacroLab from two FRED series: SP500 divided by DEXUSEU. Both input series are sourced from the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database.
